Dr. Jeanne Herman, O.D.

New Orleans native Dr. Jeanne Herman graduated from Mount Carmel Academy and earned her B.S. Degree in Biology from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. After earning her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Houston, Dr. Herman returned to New Orleans in 2008 to work at the St. Charles Vision on Severn.

During her education, Dr. Herman received extensive training in treatment and management of ocular disease, glaucoma and specialty contact lenses. She completed additional ocular disease clinical training at the Albuquerque, New Mexico VA Hospital.

Dr. Herman is certified in Therapeutics by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, the Texas Optometry Board, and the Louisiana State Board of Optometry Examiners. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Optometry Association of Louisiana, the New Orleans Contact Lens Society and the New Orleans Optometric Society.
