Dr. Earl “Ty” Primo, O.D.

Dr Primo is now in practice at the St Charles Vision Outlet on the West Bank, where he was born and raised.

A native of Terrytown and graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School, he earned his B.S. Degree from Louisiana State University and his O.D. from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, where he graduated Cum Laude.

Dr. Primo has presented three posters on Corneal Research at national meetings and has been published in Investigative Ophthalmology and Vision Science. He has been practicing primary care optometry with a special interest in Dry Eye Syndrome, complex contact lens fittings, and diseases of the eye.
