Eye Examinations

Our eye examinations are the most thorough in the industry. We begin with a complete history to access your needs. A computerized auto refraction is performed to monitor your refractive error. This is a great test for the very young to the very old. All you have to do is look at a picture and the test is completed in seconds. This is amazing technology that saves time for you and creates accuracy in your prescription for the doctor. We also use computerized spectacle reading devices to read your current prescription which creates greater accuracy. The doctor will then begin his testing for your eye examination. You will have a check for your prescription as well testing for cataracts and glaucoma. A dilated examination of the retina of the eye will be performed to check for signs of diabetes and vascular complications. Reversal eye drops will be given to you so you may return to work, school or play as soon as possible. Our doctor will take his time with you and address each and every problem with professional recommendations. If additional testing is required, the doctor will tell you why and the purpose of each test. We believe you will feel the same way many of our patients have in the past.
